As you can probably see I have rather a big soft spot for racing drivers - quite a few of whom, their careers have either finished when I was very young or even before I was born. Monsieur Le Mans is my hero. I can't really put into words how much I respect & admire the kind Belgian gent. I grew up watching F1 with my family, my earliest memories are of sitting watching cars go round a track (that's all I knew it as back then) and remembering three drivers really catching my imagination and haven't left me since - Rubens Barrichello, Alain Prost & Damon Hill. I have a lot of respect for drivers and - yes I'm a girl and shockingly - a geek. I love everything about F1. The engineering, the technicalities - but most of all the history. Sometimes I feel like I was born in a different era because my favourite drivers are either not racing anymore or have died. This place is generally for the most part F1 related posts but with a sprinkle of all sorts as well. I don't bite! I love meeting F1 fans & meeting new people :)
